Managing business model change in a dynamic environment

We conduct an exploratory study of a business model innovation occurring in the consumer electronic industry. The results suggest eight distinct subprocesses that were grouped into three aggregated business model innovation processes that enable value creation and value capture across a set of stakeholders. This study provides preliminary insights on a theory of business model innovation.
