Restoration of the Vengeron stream diversion project

Prina Howald, Erika (School of Management and Engineering Vaud, HES-SO // University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland) ; Odier, M. (x)

The work cuts across two meanders of the old stream. In the upstream section, adjacent to the crossing of the railway, it runs through a rocky ridge for about 100 m. Then it continues around the bed of the stream and finishes as a platform constructed in embankments in the lake. The cut and cover sector has an internal diameter of 2.50 m. The figure 2 illustrates the method of construction of this structure.
