This article discusses the application of magnetic heat pump technology for heating buildings in Switzerland. Two systems are proposed, a floor heating system and a heating system for low-energy and office buildings with heat recovery devices. Their behaviour is numerically modelled and the results are compared with those of conventional heat pump systems.
