Résumé

An inverter phase made of two series connected IGBTs has been operated in a quasi resonant zero voltage switching mode. Commutation losses, achievable switching frequencies, output voltage gradient and performances both in normal and fault condition are discussed and compared to hard switching equivalent topology.
