Résumé

For MagnetoHydroDinamic (MHD) plants electrlc power estraction trom MHD channel is of primary significance, in order to supply Il to a load or, generally, to the AC network. In this work the authors descrlbe design, experimental realization and tests of an electrode consolldatlon circuit able to estract electrlc power from a Faraday connected MHD channel test facllity. Consolidation involves tour electrode pairs on cathode and anode wall of the channel, in order to investlgate on circuit operation and lts lnteractlon wlth the channel itself. Moreover, design criteria are verified lor futura reallzatlon of similar plants with considerably higher power.
